Off road tires for Sprinter

Hi,

we have a 2016 SM Sprinter 3500 w 144 wheelbase (2WD). We current run four season Continental Tires 205 / 75 / 16 (front) and 285/ 65/ 16 (rear), but I would like to change to off road/all terrain tires to get more protection for rougher gravel/dirt roads.

What off road/all terrain tires do people recommend for this van? Thank you!!!

Best,
J

I've run through a set of the KO2's and now am running Falken Wildpeaks. I prefer the Falkens.

I've had KO2s. Currently on my second set of General Grabber ATXs and love them.

My Falkens are 285 70 17’s on Method wheels with a Van Compass 2” lift. If you haven’t seen it, the Van Compass site has a good list of what tire sizes fit with what modifications, it provides a good size reference to start with.

I second the Falken Wildpeak recommendation. I'm using LT245 / 75R16 on the stock wheels.

(Aftermarket wheels look better of course... )

Hi, has anyone had experience with the 3500's?

They run 215/85-16s since they need to fit side by side on the dual rear wheels and be interchangeable all the way around.
