Our Sportsmobile Sprinter is a 2014 build and has a remote switch which allows propane to flow(or be shut off) from the tank to stove, heater, etc. The switch has a green pilot light and there is an adjacent gauge. The other end of the system at the propane fill panel houses the remotely controlled valve which, I presume, requires 12vdc to open. Issue is - no pilot light, no propane. Tank is about 3/4 full.
Before I dive into troubleshooting, anyone have experience with this arrangement which was exclusive to Sprinter conversions? The manual has no further details except that other chassis types had a hand valve instead of a remote actuated valve. Thanks for any help.
Is there an emergency shut off switch at the tank? It could have been switched off inadvertently. It happened to me once.
Flipped the switch and things were working again. The person who filled my tank had flipped “off.”
Sadly, when I discovered what the problem was, I had already purchased a new remote switch
