Sine Wave Inverter
I am thinking about getting the Sine Wave Inverter to power the air conditioning while driving and would like to know whether it works on the road, problems, etc?

Re: Sine Wave Inverter
I don't think you will need anything but the stock Sprinter A/C when driving. I have been in 105 degrees and as long as the bus is running it is fine and I didn't turn the a/c lower than about 68.
But if you are getting the roof-air the SMB site has place where they talk about what is required to keep a/c running.
Regards,
Keith

Re: Sine Wave Inverter
No.... with a 2k watt inverter you need an inverter smart enough to borrow juice from the battery to use with the gen to get the AC started....

So, is the inverter from SMB, a tripplite 2k watt, good enough?

Keith
