We are always building new products for all of you van lovers! This time we are playing with the Sprinter van, which has a love hate relationship with many........ One of friends wanted let us use his van as a test dummy to build a couple different Aluminum roof rack variations. Our goal was to build a lite weight aluminum rack with lines that went with the large body and forehead section of the Mercedes-Benz high roof vans. The first rack named "SIRIUS" we did definitely was inspired by the classic Baja race trucks running big lights for those dark nights. This rack will give you plenty of room for lights and light up the sky like the star its named after.
The trend is far more towards light bars versus round lights, but is that a long term trend or short term? Personally I lean more towards a light bar, but I'm also not in the market.

With this rack we were really trying to eliminate the large forehead of this van with good looking hat. The Light bars are great but you would need more then one to get this amount of light.
SO then mounting 2 bars on the front just looks silly. My opinion....
However our new Ford & Chevrolet racks do run a single bar.

I personally recommend fun4cars.nl, it is a Dutch webshop but you can put this on English. They have high quality items. They also have, for example, stainless steel roof racks of excellent quality, side bars, push bars etc. They also ship to other countries.
