Sprinters hard to get again?

We talked to SMB today and it sounds like Sprinters are on the endangered list again. Anyone else been checking on availability? We heard they might be sold out for a year.

Everyone wants one.. They are everywhere you go. No one is traveling abroad now and very few are traveling domestically by plane. So, everyone is buying RV's, jeeps, trailers, vans, etc. It's a zoo out there.

Drive through Boulder, CO and you will see Winnebago Revel vans every few minutes.

Every can builder is busy for the next year in orders.

It is bonkers

Wilsonville MB on the south end of Portland has 126 vans I stock, but that does include a handful of Metros vans.

My local MB dealer here in PA has a decent stock of new Sprinters, including AWD.

Search MB of Fort Washington PA

Same in Asheville....I see multiple ProMasters, Transits, and Sprinters every day. $100K+ rigs down to vans like mine all over. Dead giveaway of course is presence of a Maxxair fan.

I also see Amazon Prime vans everywhere lately. Could be Amazon has been putting in big orders to the factory.

We ordered a Sprinter 2500 4x4, to be outfitted by SMB North, back at the end of January. It is now sitting in Charleston SC for the past month waiting for transport to Indiana.
But, if you go to Cars.com and do a search there a lot of sprinter vans for sale.
