Just to tie off this thread ... I have finalized my Sprinter order and made the following decisions regarding my "on the fence" items:
  • ORDERED Overhead Storage Slot, Front Center, 12V Wiring (Option FF8)
  • NOT ORDERED Fuel-Fired Pre-Heater/Booster (Option H12)
  • NOT ORDERED Electrically Heated Windshield (Option F49)
  • ORDERED Leather Steering Wheel (Option CL3)
  • ORDERED Black Leatherette Seats (Option VU9)
  • ORDERED Rear Heater Prep (Option H88)

My finalized MB order can be found here: MB Order Sheet ; and a pdf of the Excel spreadsheet I used during my MB ordering process is here: MB Order Spreadsheet.

Well, I thought that my order was final ... MB came back and said that I couldn't order the H88 Rear Heater Prep option without also ordering either the HZ9 Fuel Fired Heater Booster option or the H12 Fuel Fired Pre-Heater/Booster option. Therefore I added H12 since it will have some additional utility for me -- engine block pre-heating in very cold conditions.

I will update the SMB Sprinter order document and my decision spreadsheet to reflect this addition.

You might also consider adding the remote. It's $300 or something, but has a nearly 2 mile range. Not sure what your usage will be, but I know we'll take full advantage of it when we're headed back to the van after skiing. Might seem like a lot, but when looking at the total cost of the van - it's a drop in the bucket

Are you considering Agile RIP or Van Compass Stage 6 suspension conversions? What was decided and why? Thanks
