haha! First "camping" trip in our SMB was totally this same sentiment. We giggled while heating up coffee in the morning with the microwave. It feels like cheating.

What's tougher to overcome is the feeling of guilt....when camping in the comfort of the van.....alongside friends who are sacked out on the ground in tents. They seem happy enough in their "ignorant bliss" though.*

*I know how elitist this sounds.
Afraid I can't say anything to undo that impression.

Thanks for the ride offer Fitz... I'm in SoCal maybe someone close has similar set up. Don't VC and Agile sell the same suspension kits? I recently added the full skid plate set up from VC. Now suspension and bumper upgrades then I have to let the check book cool off a bit.

G'day,

None of you Boy's ever ask to come and look at my Sportsmobile or go for a ride though? So sad, only a few more kilometers away, and I'm very shy & modest about my great looking rig too!

Checkout my pictures on Facebook Sportsmobile Owners page.

Cheers Doug

Steadijib,

The answer to your question above is no, the Van Compass and Agile suspension improvement kits are different.

mikemikemike referenced a thread over on the Sprinter Forum, here it is. It makes for some good reading.

I'll be at Agile Offroad on 31-May for our suspension upgrade. I'll be happy to post a bunch of pictures from that work. in addition they are installing the 20GAL Aerotank, hidden WARN winch, skid plates, ROAMBUILT rims with 275/70 tires.

Incidentally, the wheel spacers mentioned in the link Fitz sent on suspension discussions are not required with the ROAMBUILT rims. But the rims are very expensive, no doubt.
