2002 E150 Seats

Long time lurker, first time posting. I am looking at a 2002 Ford E150 ,That is out of state. It has Buckets in the first row of passenger seats and a bench seat for the second row. Does anybody know if they are interchangeable ? Are all the mounting holes the same? Would I be able to put the bench where the buckets are ? The reason I would want to switch is I don't think I would be able to slide surfboards under the buckets.

Thanks

2nd row captains from a Chateau, Traveller, or Premium model van is a direct bolt-in for the 2nd row (even the seatbelt mount), and you keep quick release.

Mounting 1st row seats in the 2nd row would required some new holes and backing plates, or adding a baseplate to the seat base to adapt to the seat mount holes.

I don't know about the mounting but wouldn't the bench be too wide for the middle row? There is a step well in the way.

Oops. Just re-read it and realize you were asking the opposite of what I though. But still, it is a direct bolt-in.

The 2nd row bench is not too wide. It's the standard configuration for the factory Wagons.

Thanks for the input guy's. I am trying to think of everything I might possibly want to be able to do. I will follow up if I pull the trigger on this one.
