AC Freshwell 2000 in rear AC ventilator

I'm planning to install an Freshwell 2000 and have an idea of using the ventilator from rear AC that is placed in the roof.

Is this an bad idea ??

You planning on tying in the unit to the vent via duct work on the roof?
How will you waterproof the unit?
It is 44lbs in a small package mounted on your roof that is designed to be mounted inside your rv

It sounds like a great idea. I see no problems. I wish I knew why those were not more popular here! Low power consumption, light weight, I see no negatives.
If I understand you correctly, you still have the rear air in the van, right? The Freshwell will just be tied in to the same ductwork and used when the van is off? If that's the case I don't see why it wouldn't work. Good luck and keep us posted.

Where will the heat be vented to the outside?
