Black lug nuts and center caps.....that won't fade?

Has anyone had any luck finding black lug nuts(acorn style) and black center caps that don't immediately fade?

I'm hesitant to order anything without a recommendation as most that I see out on the road are a horrible bronze-ish brown color after a few months in the sun.

BB

I had a set that I loved on my last SMB. I've been meaning to call the tire shop and see what they were. They were all 'keyed', as in none were standard size, you had a key to get any of them off. They were fairly long too. As for centers I wouldn't know. I don't usually run them, can't usually on a 4wd front anyway.

Unless my old van has traded hands another time or three Ninjaexplosion (username) has it now. Maybe he'll snap a pic for you.

Garage
are you looking for regular lug nuts or do they just need to hold the wheel on?

ive been using gorilla tuner style lugs for years. i used them on our racecar for 10 years. wheels and tires were on and off every other weekend during summer months and i am very pleased with how they have stayed black.

the other thin i like about the tuner style lugs is that they come with a slender deep socket that keeps tooling away from your wheels.

that said, i have a full set off my van before i changed bolt patterns...which changed my thread pitch as well. i have enough for all 4 wheels and at least three matching for the spare tire. i know i have more, but i went looking for them the other day and couldnt locate them. if your interested pm me.

they look like.

Agile put the Gorilla Lugs on when I got mine done. I got the key and ordered up the 1/2" drive key too and popped it on a torque wench. Also got a couple spares for my spare tire. Not sure if and how much they fade over time. They are nice lug nuts though.

Summit Racing carries them. If you go on their site, they are the small diameter lug nuts. Duplex black chrome 2"

Those are the ones. Love em. I guess I'm about to buy another set. What are they up to now?
