Bumpers on CL - bajavoodoo.com

I have an Econoline search on CL that pings me when certain things are for sale. Just got notice of these guys and thought I'd throw it out here for scrutiny.

bajavoodoo.com

I have NO affiliation with these guys

These have been talked about on here before I believe. They pop up on CL all over the place, mixed reviews, questionable quality, although I have no first hand knowledge.

I know this post is a few months old, but just in case somebody else uncovers it, i wanted to share a little note from my experience w/ Baja voodoo van stuff.

A client bought a huge roof rack from them for their brand new, AWD high roof, long body transit. It was way cheaper than anything stateside. You get what you pay for.

It was supposed to be powder coated... It was rattle canned with no primer. Rusting from the day it arrived. Welds were pretty ugly in many places, but functional. It was bent in a few places. Mounting hardware was all super shitty and not stainless. Loud as hell once mounted and driven on the highway.

Overall, I'd stay away from their products unless you're really tight on money... And even then, I'd suggest DIY'ing one yourself out of galvanized strut channel before buying one that will rust all over your van. We tried touching up the paint, but it continues to peel off and rust. You really need to sandblast it down to the metal and then podwrcoat it to do it properly.
