E350 Door Straps... Aftermarket? Available?

Hi I'm looking for info on who produced these door straps...

I drove 3 or 4 E350's in the process of buying my rig.

Somehow I thought they were a Ford Factory Product.

Anybody resurrect a set of these? know where to find the parts? a whole new kit?

You drove 3 or 4 E350s that had these exact straps? I've never seen one on any Ford van. There are lots of aftermarket things like that out there though, could be anything.

Ha ha thats awesome, I have never seen those before either and can't believe so many had them.

Why wouldn't you just reinstall the stock door checks?

Because one of my knucklehead friends or myself would probably break the standard ones...

It's looking like I will have to find electroplated parts and just have it restitched...

Unless somebody can point me in the right direction?...

The factory ones are metal and pretty tough. I think they would be stronger than a nylon strap. YMMV.
