Econoline tank replacement/relining options?
So the I have the classic decontamination issue on my 06 E350. Im trying to figure out all my options.
Does anyone make a poly tank for these vans? The only one I can find is the rear axle version for the cutaway.
Can anyone recommend a quality steel or aluminum replacement tank? All the steel ones I found on google seem to be a little on the cheap side. Only aluminum one I can find is UJOR and they dont really seem to interested in selling one.
Anyone have good experience with having a delaminated tank relined?

Will an Excursion tank fit in the space? Excursion tanks are poly tanks, hold 44 gallons and are mounted at the very rear between the frame rails.

I have a factory Ford poly tank from a 2013 complete with fuel pump and carbon unit and a few hoses. Also have a metal one from a 96 with fuel pump. Either one is yours if you come pick it up in Oregon.

I had a 40 gallon unit from Aero Tanks in SoCal and was very happy with it.

I've had rusting tanks lined on older/classic vehicles. Call places that do restoration work, they likely know someone that can do the work. Shouldn't be too much money.

$250-350 on RockAuto. Just as good as OEM probably but how long will you realistically keep the van? 20 years? I would think any tank, cheap or not, would last at least that long.
