Elusive Eli Brackets

Does anyone know how to reach Eli besides a PM? I reached out to see about a set of his brackets but to no avail. I figure he is just not on the forum right now but may still be selling a set or two of brackets.

Thanks,

Brad

Re: Elusive Eli Brackets

I contacted him several months ago and he replied saying he is not making them anymore, unfortunately. I need a pair too.

All you have to do is buy my SMB, and I'll throw in a brand new, unused set of Eli Brackets. Now how's that for a deal?

Did you try e-mailing him?

Re: Elusive Eli Brackets

Just thought that something might have changed over the last few months, where Eli might reconsider making more brackets.

Re: Elusive Eli Brackets

I don't know what an Eli bracket is or what it does, but I'll bet if someone contacted John (jwintersteller) on this Forum he'd be able to make them. He's the guy that makes the Door Talon. That guy seems to be able to fabricate anything. When he was camped out at Red Rock I saw the box he made for his leveling blocks that is under his van. It was extremely well done. Very professional. Maybe this is another product line he would be interested in adding to his Door Talons. Worth a try. You can email or PM him through the Forum.

Re: Elusive Eli Brackets

I talked to Eli several months ago about making these and he gave me the go ahead- however I have no unmodified ones to take design off of and no drawings- Herb, you want to sell me those so I can copy them and get some quotes?

Jeremiah,

If you want to make some, modify the design to reduce the setback of the awning by 1/2"-5/8". My awning (and others) hit the penthouse until the brackets were modified.

Sure. How does $72K sound, and I'll include a free SMB?

Let me think about selling the brackets. If I sell the SMB, I'd like to be able to include the brackets, and if I end up keeping the SMB, I'd want to install the brackets for myself.

How long do you think you'd need the brackets?

What do the brackets fit? What problem do they solve?
