Nope, mine are on the same as 1der and mine have been on for 10 years plus no galvanic corrosion. Van has been in all weather conditions on both coasts and has been an out door stored van for the last couple of years.

The honeycomb crush isolator seem to be more to protect the bumper rather than the frame's crumble zone. I smashed into a highway guardrail towing my trailer, and while the bumper bent, and hundreds of feet of guardrail was remodeled, the frame was fine. Since both the bumper and the frame are painted, adding an additional barrier probably is overkill.

Our routes sound similar. Clearly, were headed into the corrosion zone, and I've been there many times. I'm far more worried about corrosion on things like the frame, the gas tank, the suspension, actually... pretty much anything metal under the van, than I am about the frame horns. My regular plan is to wash the undercarrage as often as possible, normally at the end of each trip. In the spring I treat as much rust as possible with some type of conversion product and then paint. Rust is going to happen no matter what we do, the trick is to stay slightly ahead of it. If an isolater pad helps a tiny bit, or provides a miniscule additional amount of impact force absorbtion, I see no reason not to run them if you want to, but personally I don't think its a big enough difference to matter much.

I have been running the Aluminess front bumper on my 2012 E150 four years now. No isolators and no corrosion between bumper and crush area.
