Also you don't want a custom or integrated backup camera. When my IR cameras went out like christmas lights I was left with unusable connections and mounts (I haven't had the time to strip and repurpose the wiring). Replacements were more than just buying another package from the manufacturer so I've been running a cheapo $7 wired camera off amazon. Make sure whatever you do the camera is swappable.


Also the POV from the 3rd brakelight area is excellent, especially for towing. Of course mine is always on when driving also.

I am looking at two products for third brake light cameras:

Figure if too small, I can mount on backing plate to fit, if too big, drill new holes. Regardless, I should be able to run wires through existing hole and seal good with 5200. Anyone have experience with either products? Quality of video?
