How long is your awning?

I just picked up an F45 Fiamma on CL. It is 10' and I have an RB. Now that I have it I am concerned about the length. Anyone with an RB have a 10 footer? BTW my van is at Van Specialties getting Anzac's bumper installed so I can't lay it next to the van.

The actual awning part of the awning on my RB is 9' 7 1/2". The frame extends out another 4-5 inches on each end.

Van Specialties installed our top and the f45 10 footer on our RB chev 1500 . . . here is a side shot...if fits/works great for us!

OH, and something worth stating...
Somewhere here there was a lengthy thread on the benefits of getting the updated white-painted-steel awning foot holders for your van's side rather than what was at one time (and still may be) stock cast aluminum holders. The cast alum has a tendency to break after a while, whereas the steel ones are very simple and robust. Our original aluminum brackets broke before the first season was over, VS replaced them with the steel brackets under warranty.

I've actually broken two of the metal hinges when trying to twist the legs down on my Fiamma awning. I bought plastic new ones, but they are not much better. And the online Fiamma catalog is almost impossible to figure out the right part to order. So this time I've decided to skip ordering a new part and just use baling wire and pliers to fix the problem -- MacGyver style.
