I'm installing vents for a 3-way fridge in my 2006 E-350 SMB and am looking for recommendations on a sealant, especially how to fill the large holes from the trim lines pointed to by the arrows in the pictures once the rest is cut out and the vent frame is bridging over the trim lines, or whatever they are called.
My vents are on a flat wall, but if you use white butyl tape and layer it up in the low spots it'll look fine after you carefully use a very sharp knife to remove the excess; after installing the vent.

Make sure and study the instructions for vent placement!! The top of the upper vent needs to be ABOVE the top of the frig. The builder of our van installed the vent level with the top of frig, and I had to add fans to make it work at higher outside temps.
Note they are hard to decipher. Read them over and over.
Even though you may not have the exact model listed use a similar sized fridge. The upper side wall vent distance they list is a minimum. Go as high as you can. Use a baffle too.

to get the profile and then use it to transfer to a thick piece of plastic and carve it out to match the contour and then use silicone sealant to seal it to the body and to the frame of the vent. But then I'm an old model builder and maker of things.
