How to best close bolt holes in floor?

Hi all,

after removing the rear seats from my e350 passenger van, what is the best way to close the bolt holes in the bottom before putting in insulation and flooring?

I found got bolts that matched the original thread pitch and put those back in the holes with some anti seize on the threads.

I plugged the holes with plugs from a sheet of 1/8" ABS and then painted over with POR-15.
I happened to have a grommet installation kit and it has a hole punches that I size for the plugs.

A cut-off bolt will work also but just a lot more work.

I used 12mm set screws with some RTV on the threads as seen in post 57 here:

How to best close bolt holes in floor?

I used “Christmas tree fasteners” that are easily removable and pretty flush on top. Like this but I don’t remember the exact size.

It was a bear to get all my screws out . I had to use an impact wrench and work several back and forth which is why I did not want to put anything metal back in the holes

GM Radiator Apron Plugs

Here is a link to them like described by Chico, these were recommended to me by MG and worked great. I added a little dab of silicone around the end before popping them in.

Here's the specs: Radiator Apron Panel Retainers GM 1619321 Black Nylon, Head Diameter: 1", Stem Diameter: 7/16" , Stem Length: 13/16"
