My van came with a Talon in place. I think they should be a stock item. Personally, If you offered me $50 and a bungee cord as a trade for my talon I'd probably just look at you funny. While I understand not wanting to part with $50, once you have a Talon you would not take $50 to part with it..... Not after you see how well it works, tucks away and looks. Just my 2 cents.

The Talon is a cool device! It should be easy to print something similar up on a 3D printer.

Get an old metal ruler or thin piece of aluminum trimmed to one inch by what ever length you need. Trim it with shears or tin snips into the shape of a hook at one end, drill a hole at the other and use a self tap screw it into the door sash lose enough to swing. Or you can use a bungee as I reverted back to because any breeze or movement inside that moves the door and you need to re-hook.

Yeah Jim, the talon rocks, but tell me where you are camping so I can stay at least one mile away from you.

Nothing more annoying than someone wanting to "share" their music when you're looking for peace and quiet.

^^^That coming from someone who was once in a The Who-like cover band!
