Let's talk about Jeep bumper into a econoline

Problem:
There are not many options when talking about aftermarket trail bumpers, and they're all way over $1k. some over $2k

Proposed Solution:
Why not adapt a jeep bumper to fit in the Econoline?
If you look at amazon, there are some pretty good looking ones, for a fraction of the price.

It seems possible, there should be a custom adaptor in between... Have any of you guys done something similar?

MG sells his adaptors for a few hundred dollars (If he still sells them, I haven't checked). I would just get those and be done since all the work is done and done meticulously by him.

Our adapters are specially for the ARB Sahara bumper but if you want some basic dimensions of the parts, i can provide.

Interesting theory. I've certainly thought of adapting a used name brand f-series bumper before.

I'd have to see one of those really cheap bumpers in person to decide if they'd be good enough, of if they are just a bumper shaped novelty object.

That describes a lot of the Jeep bumpers out there for sure! I'm thinking you get what you pay for and it's hard for me to think of butchering a well made (read expensive) one.

If you want to do some welding, Move Bumpers can modify the brackets from a 2008-2010 F250/350 to fit on a 2008+ E350. By the time you powder coat it, you'll be in it for probably close to $700

I think a Jeep bumper, at least a Jeep JK bumper, will be a little narrow for an E350, leaving the front end corners vulnerable.

I just strapped a piece of 3x5 to the rear flange mounts. Works great.

I have no experience welding and no place to do it :/
