Lift options for 1994 2wd

I would go with the softer one. My guess is that the rates are different but the size is the same. The 5.0 motor doesn't weight nearly as much as a diesel would in a 350, so I think the firmer rate would make the ride really harsh.

Reach out to Jeremy at weldtec and ask which springs he uses. I know he put skyjackers on the front of my van in his 4" kit, but he could give you some good direction. Understand that he is at SEMA this week, so he won't get back to you.

yes go woth the softer one.
They are variable rate which is teslly nice. Not sure which adjustable bushings I have my spring shop figured that out for me.
With your lighter van e150 you won't need longer shocks.
Even my van on factory shocks fit fine as the lift I got raised my van to e350 height.
The main difference between e250 and e350 is literally the suspension and axle type . E150 is a different frame and rear spring.
My e250 is now an e350 with my suspension upgrade.

Does anybody know if the shocks from an E350 or a 4wd van will work on a 2wd E150? As a reminder, I have a 94 E150 Club Wagon 2wd with 5.0. I bought a set of the Moog CC880 springs for the front and will do a slight lift to the rear to match the front after I figure out how much the springs actually raise the front. Looking on Fox's website, they just show the option for an E350, not an E150. Looking at Bilstein, they show a 4600 series but no 5100 series for the E150, which I hear are supposed to be better.

I contacted Agile Off Road and they said they no longer offer a shock for the 2wd vans.

I contacted Weldtec and they said they don't offer their shocks outside of a lift kit, and if they did they would be too long for the mild lift of the springs I have. I figured what they offered in the Performance Leveling Kit would likely fit the bill?

I just wanted to know if anybody knew of a good option on shocks for this van? Something that will work whether it is sold for this van or maybe even something else? At the end of the day, when I install the springs I would like some nice shocks to put on it as well.

They have a 2" lift kit for 2wd Ford vans for E150, E250, E350. Same kit for all. Runs about $292.00 for a E150.

I did mine about a year ago and it rides really nice. Very Happy with the results.

for my camperized e250 with a 2 2.25 spring lift they recommend 4600 series.
just to be clear you already have a 2 inch lift?

Having poured over every thread I could find until my eyes were bleeding I finally ordered a set of springs, the Moog cc880 (no "S"). My van is a 2wd '93 e250 poptop RB50, (351 5.8L). I had been anticipating facing caster and camber issues and maybe needing new shocks based on the proported lift others were getting.
Decided to install them last night, had to laugh at myself for starting just after 7pm. I pulled baseline heigth numbers on all four corners, (discovered my driverside sits 7/8" lower, gas tank is full).
The install went very quickly, was super easy and the new springs seated well. Knowing I was going to get some amount of lift out of the springs and having ample threads on top of my existing shocks I made 5/8" spacers.
All said and done I was surprised when I re-checked the height and had gained only 1.25". Not what I was expecting but I can notice the difference in stance and tire clearance. Haven't driven it enough to report on handling. My take away so far: Springs are relatively cheap and easy to install. If you are curious about a 2wd mild DIY lift it's worth swapping a pair in to see where you van sits with a fresh set.

If you shocks are older , it maybe worth redoing them as well.
It could also be saggy shocks which can a small effect.
I have cc880s on my rb50 style 5.4 e350 camper van .
btw I got 2.25 lift but it rides a "little stiff"...
I just put some rv bilsteins which have helped as I was sagging due to left from shock being crappy.
