Lumbar adjustment knob

My 2002 power drivers seat has a manual lumbar adjusting knob on the right side. I need to pull the plastic trim panels off the side of the seat. The lumbar knob needs to come off first. Anyone know how to remove the knob?

Disclaimer: No, never toyed with one.

Perhaps it's like the headlight switch? (Cutout and press a tab to get it to release, then it slides off nicely?)

I've done only a very brief search- there was someone talking about replacing their heated seats on a '00 Excursion who said that it simply 'popped off' (Albeit with some persuasion).
Excursion Thread

FWIW.

Factory ford lumbar knobs are just friction fit. Gotta just give it a good tug. A gentle pry with a tool as you work the knob around could help.
Note while installing, they have indexing tabs to line up with the hub and are uneven. I think there is something like 2 tabs on one side and three on the other. Hope this helps.

Used two long screwdrivers, one on each side of the knob, as pry bars and it popped right off.
