My 95 SMB project van

My new to me 95 E250 2wd. Not really a project van just a lot of little projects I want to do to make it mine. Step one 2wd lift. Installed Moog 880 Springs on the front and had Oregon Automotive Spring re arch and add leaves to the rear. New Bilsteins on all four corners. Wheels, tires, and alignment next week. Thanks 86 Scotty and everyone else who gave advice I think it turned out great.

Installed the awning from my old van using 1der's brackets. Thinking about cutting the tops of the brackets as I doubt I'll ever buy a Fiamma awning.

Not sure how hard it would be to remove them they're painted on. I've got some decals but don't know how they'd look with the stripes. What ya think?

Oh, if they're painted on they're for keeps. I think you'd be looking at an entire paint job. Others here may know more. I shy away from paint work if at all possible. They look fine, I was just curious. My old van was that color solid and I loved it. What decals do you mean? 'Ebola Response Team' will gaurantee you peace and quiet when camping and an enhanced relationship with your neighbors.

Will be interested to see how the tankless water heater install goes! Where in the van are you planning on putting that in?

Saw a really nicely-installed one on forum member Tienckb's rig yesterday. A particularly cool detail was that it was plumbed on its output side with a temperature-regulating valve, to automatically blend the hot/cold lines that fed the shower. Perfect shower temperature every time.

Plan on attaching it to a cabinet in the back so it's rear facing. My wife wants to shower outside the back door. Got a quick connect to attach a garden hose to the faucet. Run a 8 foot hose to the unit and a 2.5 gallon propane tank on the ground.
