That sounds REALLY high, even for a set of four. Is that what Agile quoted? I don't remember what I paid for re-valving, but it seems like a pair of Fox shocks was about $250 and the valving wasn't much more money.

Those are the reservoir shocks. You can get non-reservoir shocks.

You should call Jeremy at Weld-tec. The website is only ok and email isnt good. But if you call, they can get you dialed.

Or call action van. http://www.actionvansuspension.com/prices.php

You can see the regular shocks on that page. Should be about 700 for the set. SO worth it though.

You likely don't need the reservoir shocks.

I have Fox 980-24-677 and Fox 985-24-061 shocks which is what Agile recommended. John at Agile told me I didn't need the reservoir shocks and he didn't recommend them for my application. John guesstimated the weight and height of my van for the rear shock valving and later re-valved my stock Fox front shocks when I was down there. It was a completely different ride going home vs. the drive there.

The guys at Weldtech are great also, but I believe (though I may be wrong) that their Fox shocks come from Agile as well.

Didn't see a listing for non res shock. Though I'd certainly agree I don't need em.

My other concern the FOX's being aluminum may not hold up well to our Canadian winters and use of road salt.

Agile sells the shocks for about $150 per shock. They also ship. No sense in buying an off the shelf shock for the same price when you can have a properly valved shock. Just call John at agile, you wont be disappointed.

Hmmm, better call Jeremy/Weldtec or John/Agile tomorrow.
Anyone have good experience with Bilstein's?
