New tires!

Finally got around to getting some tires on the Dadvan. I went with the new Goodyear Ultratracks from America’s tire in 265/75R16. I had to sweet talk the guys into test fitting them first to make sure they fit. At one point we had all the guys in the shop looking at it and cycling the steering. They did rub on the front lower bumper plastic part and on the back. The boys were nice enough to let me borrow a sledge and look the other way while I “clearance’d” it. A few taps and I was able to gain the 1/4” I needed. Used a sawzall at home and took another 1/2” off the front bumper plastic and rounded it under. I doubt anyone would actually notice the modifications to make them fit. Tires are super aggressive and look killer but also pretty quiet.

I'm a huge fan of the Goodyear brand...AMerican made too!

Ps Great on the beaches and can be taken down to 15-20 PSI

I really like the tread on the side wall. I bet it helps when airing down for sand.
