One other thing that I just thought of is a front receiver hitch from etrailer could strengthen your frame in case of major impact because it bolts up to both frame rails and mounts to existing holes from factory, plus you could put a cargo carrier or bike rack etc if extra room is needed or just cover it up with skid plate.only thing is I just noticed in my pic is how low it sits but I’m sure you could use other square tubing across and weld into place up high without hanging down.

I just checked out the MOVE bumpers site. Those are pretty slick for what they cost 500$ or so with a bit of welding labor! I’m putting this into my possibilities list . I wonder if anyone on this forum is sporting one?

Thanks dude!

I’m liking these pics! Whenever fixing something I always prefer it to be upgraded also. The big hoop up front is what leveraged the damage to the mounting points so I’m not crazy about this design. I like the Raptor lined grill a lot! All my friends have asked me already why I haven’t blacked out my grill yet Lol ..My chrome is peeling anyways, maybe a good time for a facelift and new lighting!

Thanks for the ideas.

I had a Move bumper on my van. Previous owner, wish41, installed it. Don’t forget powder coating costs. I removed it because it was too hard to add a winch at the time and the winch tray I bought after the fact from Move was not enough by itself. No issues with the bumper though. Member gahamby has it on his van now.
