There's got to be a few of you around here... i'd like to see anyone's EB rig with a roof rack.

We are heading down to Aluminess soon and i think im ready to pull the trigger. Just deciding what plan i like the best.

I have a Yakima Mega Warrior (I think that's the model) that attaches to the PH roof rails. Not sure if you're looking for Aluminess racks only, or any kind of rack. It might take me a while to get it installed and take a pic, but if yo can wait a while, I ca make that happen.

This is a 6' x 8' gear basket I built in a friend's shop. Behind that is a pair of Yakima bars. (All pics are of the same van. Dark is post-makeover).

We have a Yakima track and rack system on our 2008 Ford EB.

It is this sytem that allowed us to move the solar panels 9 inches forward to give us more room in the rear for other toys.

Re: Roof Racks on EB's **Post up!

Thanks for posting guys... Leveraction, can i see more of yours?

here's the only on i found in your album.. i wanted to see the front section..

Any of you guys running manual penthouses? I talked with Travis and he said the standard aluminess rack is about 50lbs. So with nothing on it, i should be able to raise it no problem.

It is no aluminess but with about 30 dollars worth of conduit and a little creativity I built my own it weighs about 20 pounds and is unbelivable sturdy the top can be raised with the canoe strapped down so you do not need to get out of the van to go to bed.
