Skyjacker coil Springs on E350

I'm pretty sure Weldtec uses Skyjacker coils springs instead of the Moog that Agile uses for a 2wd lift.


I have a heavy 6.0 diesel in my van, I believe the springs are 'RV' code which I believe is pretty close to 800#/in.


I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the skyjacker coils, and how they react to the heavier weight of the 6.0.


I'm thinking a 184 4" lift coil might be pretty close to a 2" lift coil on my van.


My other options are the C880s or spacers.


I emailed Weldtec for a quote on a Baja Grocery Getter and haven't heard back yet, but I'm not sure it's in the budget or schedule this year. I'd really like to get a bit bigger tires on before an upcoming roadtrip.

I had a grocery getter kit on my rig before i converted to 4x4. I can confirm that the springs are in fact skyjackers. I looked the part number for the springs up online and they were F150/Bronco springs, i cant recall what year, its been to long ago.

Thats what I have in my notes as well, like 1980-1995 OBS Ford

I came across something on one of the Ford Forums where someone put Superduty (pickup) Spacers on their van. I have some spacers from a 2005 Superduty, I'm going to see how close they are.

Yes we use skyjacker coils, the bigges problem your going to run into with running a bigger coild is going to be a lock of caster. With the 6.0 Diesel i would def recomend going with the Baja Grocery Getter kit.
Also there is no core charge on your van right now.

I really just wanted 2" and was unsure whether to try the 2" skyjacker coils (182) or the 4" ones (184).


I bit the bullet and ordered the Baja Grocery Getter yesterday.


Guess I'm going to need to build some steps for the wife....
