This ^^^

A car dealer doesn't know the basics of one of the most popular vehicles in history?

Can't use Google?

Can't run a VIN?

C'mon. This isn't an enthusiast. I vigilantly guard the parts of my life that have not been sold out to senseless, lazy advertising and marketing. I will not back down. However, I respect your opinion and response.

Thought so.

Just put it on Craigslist.
I had no idea I was entering such a Cut Throat world of Sportsmobile Owners
The Van is a 97. I spent 30 minutes searching for requested info before turning to The "Pros" who know these vans. If you read my thread I said nothing to try and advertise the van I have on here. Only requested information that I was unable to obtain. You guys are sweethearts. Thanks for the help.

If its long its an EB, if its shorter its an RB.

If it only has 8 cylinders its a v8, if it has 10 its a v10.

Doubt it would be a 4.6l if its an E350.

Sonoran - Play the victim and you will be the victim. Call Sportsmobile.

Google 1997 Sportsmobile specs yourself and tell me what you find for tank sizes. Spent nearly an hour before turning to you for help. Thanks Again

Sonoran, if you spent much time here you'd find that I am not at all an internet bully. I simply don't like people who show up just to sell things and then are gone. At this point you don't like me so I'm not going to sugarcoat things for you. If you are this bad at finding out info on a vehicle you intend to sell then you might want to consider a different career path. Selling cars just isn't for you. UPS is hiring I'm sure.

Good luck to you!

Further advice that I started with and not sure if you've taken. Put it on Craigslist. If you do, someone here (maybe even me) will probably link the sale and tell you all about it while at the same time generating interest and getting the word out to those looking.

In other news, only 2 of the 10 or so people who have responded own a Sportsmobile. We're just fans. Maybe we're just bitter.

Yours truly,
internet bully

1997? Practically a dinosaur, might as well just sell it to me for a couple hundred before putting time and effort into it.

You'll find nothing specific for your the van you have. Thats because almost every Sportsmobile is custom ordered so whoever originally had it built decided what size tank, what kind of top, interior color, interior layout, finishes, lighting, etc. etc. etc.

As someone posted earlier, post some pics so people can see what it is you have and you might actually get some help.

a simple photo of the tank(s) in question posted for us would yield you an answer almost immediately.
