My E250 is pretty maxed out as it is even though I have an F350 rear axle and custom rear springs.

Thanks, again.
LOL You do not have to put a 40 Gallon tank in that spot just showing you its been done.

So I went down this road about 2 years ago. Started as an idea to store water where the old OEM spare was located but morphed into a fuel storage location as I need access to water way more than access to extra fuel. Anyway, I wound up mounting up to 3 of the RotoPax 4 gallon fuel containers where the old spare was located. Check out this thread below on the forum and read all the way through as it starts out about water storage but switches to fuel.

I reached out to Timberline Vans in Golden, Colorado. They're making 46 gallon fuel tanks that fit in the space where the stock fuel tank goes. I think that's a great solution.

You still got the spare tire hardware under your van?
Just one link as example, seems like you can do 3x 6gallons.

Cool idea. Is the $175 price for a 3 pack or just one 6 gallon?

I guess it‘s one per 175$, they just mention „you can add up to 3“

Maybe I'm getting old but that seems crazy expensive. 3 would be $525 for a universal fitting piece of plastic.

They list a "3 Pack" for $450.
