Spare Wheel Mounting

I want to mount the spare wheel on my E250 EB so that I can free up the space underneath for storage.

Can you guys give me advice on my mounting options?

Aluminess makes a nice spare carrier for the stock bumper:

It is pricey. But, it is custom fit for you tire size and rim offset.

The old style ones that fit on the rear door are still around, but I wouldn't use one unless it was for a stock size wheel/tire.

I was hoping someone was going to sow me an aluminess alternative. I love the stuff but its $$$$.

They do make swing away receiver mount tire carriers but I'm not sure on the pricing or how they compare to Aluminess

For example this one is about 700 bucks at this place and I'm not sure about the fit on a van.
