All this technical talk has me wanting to say yet again that if you want a trouble free, great ride in a campervan/SMB/E350 with average load run 55/60 in E rated tires and forget about it. 80 in the front? HELL no! It'll beat you to death. Whoever advised that needs to go drive one that way for awhile.

I'm just marveling at the idea that anyone is running one of these vans substantially under gross.

Being over the stated GCVW does seem to be the norm here---good thing there's a lot of suspension upgrade info discussed and offered here.
