Re: Tow mirrors

FWIW, I sold mine on this forum for $60/pair, plus shipping.

I don't really look for them, but availability will be a big challenge, and the (lack of) availability will drive the price. Didn't AndrewST just buy some of the towing mirrors? See if he currently has the paddle mirrors with the convex portion, and if he's going to sell those off.

Re: Tow mirrors

Hate to be such a newb... Are the truck mirrors the same as the E-series tow mirrors? I have a buddy with a set from his 2004 F350...

Re: Tow mirrors

The mirror heads are the same, but the part that mounts to the door is different.

Re: Tow mirrors

Has the price on the tow mirrors gone up drastically, or do I just need to wait for the right seller? The best deal I can find on Ebay is $129 each plus $15 shipping each or $288 for the pair shipped. And, is there a big difference in quality between the OEM takeoffs and the after market copies?

Re: Tow mirrors

There is a big difference between OEMs and knockoffs.

Most of the OEM mirrors came of ambulance vans. Since Ford stopped making diesel vans, there may be a lot less Fords being converted to ambulances.

Re: Tow mirrors

I guess I'll watch Ebay for a while and then bite the bullet and buy the OEM takeoffs. Even though they are more expensive.
