Im hoping to findsomeone that has done it.... seem like it would be fairly straightforward but i'm not adventurous enough to be the pioneer.

Great point about the big 6.0 truck Trans cooler.

Do you think the fan and shroud on the 7.3 could handle the 6.0 cooling stack ok?

I think the fan will fit, but you'd probably have to use the 6.0 shroud.

The thing I'm not so sure about is if that's a god idea though. The 6.0 has a really shallow fan because directly behind it (between fan and engine) is the "stator", basically a 2nd fan blade that is stationary. Ford says the stator must remain in place no matter what. The big question is why? The 7.3 seems a little less heat sensitive so maybe it doesn't matter. But maybe that cooling stack doesn't flow as well? I really have no idea.

Thanks... Lots of people ask and talk about doing this but i still cant find anyone that has pulled it off....
