I have fixed window rear door glass sitting in my garage. From 2006 van. Portland area. It's free for the taking if you want it.

I replaced them with popouts!

I have never seen a 92+ Econoline window not fitting in another 92+ Econoline...

Interesting. My fixed window had 4 studs, 2 on each side. The popouts have 9, which populated all holes. Attached photo shows both. Remember to grab all the nuts for donor window.

Honestly I don't think you have to use any more than four holes to mount the glass... So if a local shop has four hole glass it should mount up just fine.
The ring of butyl tape should seal any unused holes and prevent any leaks.

Thanks for all the info guys. I picked up some rear windows from Nrobert10 last weekend. Got to see his van in the process of having a Ujoint conversion. Nice work and good guy.

Waking up this thread...

Kids are grown and gone, I've decided to knock out the punch list and sell my '95 Club Wagon Chateau which has served our family since 2008. Replaced it with an '06 Montero Limited 4WD.

Anyhow, I pulled the big rear windows to fix the drip leaks that developed. Viewed threads, YouTube etc. 3M window weld, properly fixed, no breakage, so far.

What I do have is a leak between the plastic frame and the glass itself. I see now that apparently there is a second butyl tape seal between the frame bracket and the glass itself. (Didn't see that one coming...).

So I can pull it back out, or attempt to seal with flowable silicone or something. The mystery to me is how the glass stays attached to the plastic frame if it is only another layer of butyl tape?

Thoughts from the Sportsmobile wizards?

I'm in the auto/truck glass biz so might be able to help.........

The '95's should have the tempered glass held to the spacer ring with a combination of butyl tape and thru-bolts, the butyl on both sides of the spacer ring.

The best job will be complete removal of the existing butyl (body, glass and spacer ring both sides then starting anew.

You could temporarily push some sort of flowable sealant into the glass/ring gap but it would only be temporary. At some point the entire butyl material will deteriorate and begin leaking on other spots.
