I joined the e-bike club with a RadMini. Been out a few times, the last in the snow, very fun.

Anyone have a traditional SMB (Chevy or Ford) set up to put the bikes indoors? Would welcome seeing that.

Not SMB, and it’s a hightop. But I like how this garage setup works for me. I just screwed a fork mount at the right height to support the bike and keep it from rolling.

Just scored a 2012 epic carbon expert. Plan on a BBSHD conversion. Tore my Achilles the next day. Go figure.
Should be a blast. This thing is light and nimble. My first e-bike build was a townie euro with 8 speed igh. The bike is so fun it caused me to put 300 miles on it first month. It’s cold and rainy in portland so I was just looking for a reason to ride.

Ok I’m kinda set tot he plus tire size. I had the fat tire bikes and went to a Krampus 29 plus and was sold on the tire size and platform. Ok with that said I have a pretty over killed Krampus with carbon wheels and a xx1 drivetrain and yes it was a demo bike that cost nothing. I also have a Deadwood that I love for trail riding. The Krampus is the Fullerton loop bike and the Deadwood is the ride bike. I also have a Spearfish that is for longer rides but is not used unless friends need s ride.

I had my doubts on these but I did do a mountain bike ride on one and well it did pretty dam good. My friend purchased it through me from another friend and then did not use use it so my cousin purchased it and I was able to ride it. It worked great and I need to sell my moms e bike to get her the step through mini.

What, did bicylces go extinct?? Any good rides?
Wearing a mask in my area is kind of necessary as the paths have a fair amount of traffic. Tough to get air for me... (gotta protect myself as I'm a survivor)
I'm a roadie this year yes, so more people to ride around.
Covid has changed things...

My cycling hobby is what has drove my desire for a van. The van want was really started when I was racing downhill in the late 90's. We would camp at the races and I would live out of my 1990 E150 conversion van. I really miss that van. It was really nothing special - I just removed the seats - but it made car-camping so much more pleasant than sleeping in a tent. Especially if it rained. That was when my friends would give me dirty looks as I stayed nice and dry in the van.
As far as bike go, I've had many over the years. The current stable is a 2020 Spot Ryve 115, 2019 Santa Cruz Megatower, 2017 Vassago Verhauen, 2012 Intense Tazer FS, 1995 Colnago Master Bi-Titan, 2016 GT Grade, and a 1998 Gary Fisher Lush Rush 20" BMX.
One attribute that is #1 on my van build criteria is inside bike storage, which is why it looks like I'll be forced to do a DIY build since that concept seems lost on van build manufacturers. The closest layout I've seen to what I want is the 164S, replacing the rear bunk beds with a platform bed w/ garage below. But over the years as I've watched van-build videos and such, I've discovered other items I want in a van which further pushes me towards the DIY route. I'm still trying to decide if I want to build out my current 1992 E350 or to buy a new Transit 350.
I never ride on cycling paths unless I absolutely have to. I've come to the conclusion it's safer to ride on the road with cars.
