Hitch Cargo Carrier or Trailer

I used to pull a 12' utility trailer and before that a sportsmobile trailer with stuff for business or river trips. Aslo bike hitch bike racks often. I have sold all trailers and now use a hitch rack with a swing away now for ebikes. The swing away allows access to the back ( without it you will get tired of removing the rack to access the back interior) but does add length from the hitch. I find the hitchpin bolts do loosen up so retighten every 300-500 off highway miles. It is disconcerning to see the bikes bounce around due to play in the hitch and their weight.

Excellent point about the back doors.

I used to have a Wilco Offroad Hitchswing and unfortunately won’t go back. I needed to put mine on an extension because of the bumper and it was not ideal on the end of the extension. Otherwise I would have kept it.
