I built a receiver mounted hualer on the cheap this weekend. First plan was to mount an old Ford bumper to a 2" tube harvested from an old class 1 reciver hitch.
An old ramp I found laying in the street a ways back and some tube from a scraped kids tubular bunk bed was used instead of the bumper.
Yard sale paint helped but you can still see the part of the old reciver I left on.
That bike cracks me up. I haven't seen one of those since I was a kid and had one that looked just about like that and was called a Tote Gote (or Goat) can't recall. Boy, we had a ton of fun on that thing!
Nice job on the hauler!
Bill

For those that arn't familiar, a Rokon is two wheel drive. It uses floatation ATV tires and is truly a go anywhere vehicle. It floats and leaves less enviromental impact on the ground than a human foot print due to the large tires. It uses a 3 speed range box and a touqe converter like a snow mobile. Mine is a 2002 Kohler 4 stroke. They have been built from the 60's and are still in production with updates along the way of course. They work best when the trail ends and you need to bush wack. The wheels are hollow drums for fuel and water. It will run 8 hours on a tank of gas and a few days with the drum full of fuel. It's really a fun bike especially if you can find areas with no trails. here are some photos of my ride last week:
My buddies dairy had both tote goats and one of those 2 wheel drive things like you have. They had both on the ranch and they got labled tote goats because he always tote goats. The 2 wheel drive one was bought for hunting and I thought he called it a motor tractor. Back then I seem to remember the tires were not so large but its been years. I just remember sticking it in some heavy mud and his dad tanning our hides. I'll never forget that! Thanks for bringing back the memories.

how heavy is it? I am considering making something i can put my old triumph on the back with, but it is around 400 or pounds
The Rokon is about 225. The hualer I made is about 60. Your bike would go on a home brew rack like mine but the aftermarket ones arnt as stout. I'd pesonally want a trailer for that kinda weight.
