Also watch eBay. Just make sure they are OEM as others said.

XLR tow mirrors

I have a 2002 Chevy Express and wouldn't you know it, factory tow mirrors started with the 2003 models.

I found some strapped on XLR tow mirrors that work great. You just have to take precautions on mounting them as they are secured with ratcheting straps (2 on each mirror).

I've used them now for about three years with no failures. I'm a little anal so have attached paracord to each mirror to secure them on to the factory mirror arm just in case. They really help in reversing the travel trailer into a tight spot.

Where is the best place to look for the 2003+ Ford pull out mirrors? I'm assuming ebay but was wondering if there is particular dealership or ford parts site has better prices than my local one. These below aren't too expensive.
I think these are what I'm looking for:

Mirror Assembly - Ford (7C2Z-17682-CA)
SHOP FOR RELATED PARTS IN OUTSIDE MIRRORS
List Price: $305.14
You Save: $100.42 (33% off)
Sale Price: $204.72

Is there a better image of this seller's page or a seller's ID/Name on FleaBay or perhaps a direct link?

After reading a lot of negative reviews on the EBay mirrors and talking to somebody who ordered a set of these, I bit, they actually went on my F250, I can't tell the difference between these and OEM, no vibrations, perfect glass, much better than I expected, and for sure a decent price, I would do it again, no hesitation.

I bought the ones from A1 Auto for the 2003 E250 and the plug is different than the stock small mirror. Did you guys need to take the plug off the old mirror or did I receive the wrong mirror. Also, the molding ls larger (where it meets the door) than the stock smaller mirror. It "might" fit, but I'm nervous to start drilling if they are the incorrect ones.

They make an adapter for that plug, I have one sitting here, but the battery is dead in my camera, I just tried to take a picture of it, is your plug a grey maybe a 1/2 by 1 1/4 3 pin flat plug?
