This van will climb like a Jeep, goes through snow like a champ. Perfect for backwoods/outback camping, surfers, skiers, etc.

The Trailer...
We are selling the trailer too. We can sell the trailer with or without the satellite system.

The two-way satellite system and computer/modems will receive/broadcast broadband internet (and is cable television capable) anywhere in the world. The one-touch system tracks the satellite for you. The system cost $7000 and has been used less than 10 hours total. You may use this system as a mobile unit for exploration, science field projects, or just as easily for a mountain home where internet is not available. The system is made by datastorm/motosat and software by directway. The trailer with satellite and brand new Sharp 80W solar panel in the box all for $5500.00.

The trailer comes from a 1950 Ford Veternarian truck bed. It features and interesting fiberglass designed top with a "continental kit " in the rear for a spare tire and 1950 Ford taillights. It sits high and is good for four-wheeling. The trailer has been restored to some degree. with aluminum diamond plate, 12 V flourescent lighting, dual bicycle racks and satellite mounting hardware (or lumber rack). The inside has been painted and some rust repair done on the side doors.

You can fit all of your gear in the trailer. It features 3 slide outs in the rear, 3 on the side entrance, and a large void space in the front. It can carry all of your gasoline, generators, solar panel, camping gear bicycles and other assorted equipment. It is attached to the van with a patented swivel system, similar to a U-joint for maximum articulation. Trailer alone - $2500.00. It is truly one -of-a-kind. Find another one like it !

So the reserve is set for the van and trailer fully-loaded. Call to discuss your interest in the van and trailer.

The SMB and the trailer are sweet.

Too bad it's not a '75 because then in Calif you wouldn't need smog testing anymore. There's at least one error in the ad, it states the transfer case is a Dana 44. A Dana 44 is a differential not a transfer case. I'd love to see more pics of that trailer.

Neon under body lighting????

At $10,000 the reserve has not been hit yet.

I do find it interesting that it had a new engine put in it after only 20k miles!

Could be the odometer rolled over (at least once). It's a '76, so the odometer probably only goes to 99,999 miles. Or it could be the vehicle never got much use, so the seals dried out and it leaked like a sieve.

He mentions an RV Cam...its quite possible that the stock 460 was not enough for him. I've driven a stock 460 and there is no power above 2000 RPM ...to aid fuel economy.

He did not say blueprint, but the rework might have been to 'hot rod' the engine.

Its also possible that the original rebuild was poor quality...and something failed
