1992 Ford E-250 Sportsmobile For Sale: Fair Asking Price?
Sadly, our family must sell our 1992 SM (just bought a truck/trailer). It is hard to determine a fair asking price based on what has been posted the past year. Think it would range from $10k - $13k for this vintage, low-mileage vehicle. Looking for feedback! Here are some features and photos:

3-way Refrigerator
12 Volt / 110 Volt System
LP forced air furnace, with thermostat control
Carbon monoxide detector
Aluminum running boards
Chrome factory bumper
Sink w/ 12V pump, freshwater tank and city water option
Greywater holding tank
Tow package
35 gallon fuel tank
Tires: new Michelin
2 captain chairs in front; 1 swivels
Propane Stove w/ 2 burners
Ample storage throughout
Roll out pantry
Closet

Re: 1992 Ford E-250 Sportsmobile For Sale: Fair Asking Price
I would say don't be shy about going high.
SMBs get snarfed up in CA. I've been looking for a year for a good condition SMB under 20k. The only ones I could find were out of state. I just got a crappy 86 hobo van because I thought I'd never get an SMB. Otherwise I'd be all over yours.
Its almost spring now and people are itching to get away. And you've got a Ford with low mileage. If the interior, appliances, and pop-top are good, get its worth.
Beware of low-ballers looking to flip your rig.

Absolutely! I just uploaded 10 pics on my gallery. Please let me know if you have any difficulty opening these, and I can email photos directly.
Thanks for the comments. I had contacted the factory and they want $1500 to help determine an asking price and list it for sale on their web page. Seems like a high commission, considering I would still do all the showing and handling the final transaction.

That is fairly tasteful for 1992, normally that would have teal interior and an RV stripe.
Lucky for you it's only 1499.99 to post your van here.

I wouldn't touch that thing with a 10 foot pole!
1. Check engine light is on,
2. Brake light is on,
3. No oil pressure...
Just kidding. It's a very nice van and you're asking a very fair price...as others have said, don't be afraid to shoot high to leave some negotiating room.

Very observant -- I should have started the engine, not just activated the start position to get the odometer reading. And yes, the SMB Forum classified rate is much better than the factory's!
I am still in the process of cleaning the vehicle and will update with an asking price once done. Thanks for the comments!
