This is a good starter rig for a good price...this ad seems suspicious though. Is this your van? It helps to put a phone number in your craigslist ad...just having the email makes most people think it's a scam listing.

I'm with the OP. No phone number on craigslist ads. I'm a routine seller and my phone number doesn't get disclosed until I have a possible sale. Not to "most peoples" liking? Too bad. I got tired of getting blasted with texts from people who only say "still available?" with no link to the craigslist ad. Using email link in Craigslist shows the ad link which is easier to track (gmail is awesome). Plus the amount of texts from random people who have no concept of grammar or politeness just reminds me that the US is no longer a leader in education

Spoke to him on the phone yesterday and he was really informative about the van and my newbie questions. Waiting for a call back from him today to see if we can put a deal together!

Great news...glad it's for real. Charlie I would make that deal happen...its not often you find a real SMB converted van with Quigley 4x4 in this price range.

As for CL I agree it's annoying to put your phone number, but that ad appeared to have all the hallmarks of a scam ad, and you will get fewer genuine buyers inquiring. Just laying out the facts.

I like how that van's twin is in the background of this photo. What shop is this at? Also what V8 engine?

That's my keeper in the background- 1999 EB50. Those are my dads project vans on the side. He's addicted to VW's. Family hobby shop. The V8 is 7.5L.

Damn nice older van. I'm especially impressed the center console is intact.
