1997 Chevrolet Sportsmobile - looking for estimate

We have a friend that is interested in our 1997 Chevrolet 2500 Sportsmobile with the following features:
- 72K miles
- 5.7 l v8
- Short wheelbase
- Sportsmobile popup top
- Sink & water tank with electric pump
- Small refridgerator
- Starcool
- 2 batteries for 2v systems (+ regular van battery)
- No propane system
- Grey water tank
- Its a single isle layout with cabinets down one side and a counter on the other.

There is some minor damage to the right front fender and the clearcoat is coming off of the fiberglass top. There were some previous body repairs from minor damage. Runs very well.

Any suggestions on what a fair price would be?

Thanks,

Dave

Re: 1997 Chevrolet Sportsmobile - looking for estimate

I've seen a lot of similar ones available recently, running the gamut from $8000-$20,000. Chevy vans are a bit more rare than the Fords or Dodges you usually see used by SMB, but I don't think the value would be that far off (personally I'd prefer the Chevy platform over a Dodge, anyway.)

I would think $12-14k would be a good market valuation in the real world.

Thank you for the replies. I was thinking $8000 myself, but wanted a reality check.
