1997 SMB Ford E350 Quigley

Good morning, after lots of soul searching I am considering selling my 1997 V10 SMB E350 EB

$40000

Specs:
1997 Ford E350 Extended V10 w/ 205K miles (new engine at 185K)
4x4 by Quigley but does have the wonderful Agile RIP

Exterior:
ARB Bull Bar on the front with Hella Driving Lights and Warn Zeon 12000# Winch
Aluminess Side Steps
Aluminess Passenger Side Ladder
Aluminess Rear Bumper with Deluxe Box, Tire Carrier, Trasheroo
Fiamma Awning
Yakima Cross Bars Mounted to Penthouse Top
Raptor Lined Penthouse Top

Interior:
Custom Brown Leather Driver and Passenger (Passenger Swivels)
Removable third passenger seat
Hot Water
Propane Stove
Sink
Shower Curtain and bucket that attach to penthouse bed when raised
Suburban Heater
Custom Brown Leather Gaucho
Large Refrigerator
New Pioneer Head Unit
New Speakers Throughout (Need to look up what I put in)
CB Radio
55 Gallon Transfer Flow Fuel Tank

This is an exceptionally well cared for and appointed SMB. The original owner, an older gentleman who passed away, kept immaculate records of every service, accessory and even gallon of fuel that went into the van. The original owner's mechanic (who sold it to me for the owner's estate) told me that he brought the van in at ~180k miles and said "the engine is starting to feel a little tired, please put a new one in". I have all of these records including the original build sheet.

Please let me know what you guys think. The van has been a joy for me, my sister and I just got back from a ~1600 mile trip around BC's Powder Highway where we camped the entire time in resort parking lots. The van performed flawlessly and I wouldn't hesitate to get in it and drive any distance.

Feel free to PM me here or email me directly at taylor3633@hotmail.com

Nice van. I'm guessing 25kish. I think the mileage will be the biggest problem, but not so much of a problem with the rebuild. It hurts your value a fair bit though.

Similar interior layout to our SMB, with the third seat. A nice option to have (although the lack of a second-row, driver-side window kind of annoys our son, as he feels like he is missing things all the time).

Garage
Great condition, new motor, and all of that equipment? I think 86Scotty hasn't had his morning coffee yet, and rallypanam has.

I'd even go so far as to say I'd ask $39,900.

+1. With V10 I'd probably pay $30K for it if I had the money, but I make a reasonable wage unlike most the overpayed folks in CA looking for a van like this.

Folks, I sure appreciate all of the feedback. Rally, I agree with you, looking at the market (without knowing actual final sale prices) I don't think that a $40k asking price is out of line. It really is a very clean and solid rig and as we all know the market for these is as hot as can be currently. I just need to decide what to do next which is both exciting and sort of regrettable.
