1998 E350 Cargo 7.3 Diesel 92,000 original miles

Greetings, I am new to this forum. I looked over 5 years for a van to convert to camp and surf. I was lucky enough to find a really nice 1998 E350 3/4 ton short body, side sliding door, 7.3 diesel with 92,000 original miles. I have taken out the cargo shelving, installed a cork floor from a leftover home project, installed a new hydraulic steering pump, had the brakes and alignment done and installed a really nice stereo with navigation, blue tooth, cd, dvd, hands free telephone, TV and back up camera. I am on the fence to either get the interior done or sell it. I take my van to the best diesel mechanic in the area and they are very impressed with it. I will consider any cash offer starting at $15,000. I am not desperate to sell. I have had offers but thought I would see if anyone here is looking for a van with this hard to find International Ford Powerstroke 7.3 liter Diesel engine with 92,000 original low miles to convert to a Sportsmobile. It is not 4x4. (yet).

I had no idea that an 18 yr old cargo van (non-4X4) would fetch such a premium starting price...

This van was in storage over 8 years untouched. Everything is original. Tires look brand new with minimal wall compromise. It is one of a kind. While in use, it was meticulously Ford dealer maintained. The vin history proves it. Where is there an 18 year old 7.3 with 92,000 original miles? The engine itself is very very sought after. As I'm sure anyone on this forum knows. Show me a 7.3 with less miles. Barely broken in according to my mechanics. This is the best heavy duty Diesel engine ever made. She starts up every time and runs great. With hundreds of thousands of miles to go. Thank you for expressing what I'm sure others would agree with on the price. That's why I'm here.

I was just saying...
And as for finding the 7.3 vans with low miles, it's not that uncommon. Just have to search and be ready to go.
Feb 2014 I found a 01 extended, hightop, 7.3 with just 108,000 on the clock and promptly got on a plane and bought it in the morning. And I paid less than a third of your price.
Just saying...
I also have seen a 2000 7.3 with just 47,000 with my own eyes... but I don't know the price he bought it for.

But, best of luck selling, they are great vehicles... I'm on my fourth!

1der found a 2003 7.3 in showroom condition with only 49k last year. It's not that uncommon.

Also, the 94-98 7.3s are pretty slow compared to the much more desirable 99-03 7.3s.

You are saying the 1998 is "pretty slow" compared to the later engines? Can you expand on that statement? In what way? We also own a 2003 7.3 Excursion. To me the van has more go.

99 onwards saw changes that improved horsepower and torque.
