I for one don't disagree that offering some type of "format" or "example" as a guide would be beneficial for both the author as well as the audience, but suspect very few would recognize its existence - unless it's placement achieves a real in-your-face billboard from the onset.
I believe a good majority already utilize good judgement, unfortunately there just isn't a good substitute for common sense.
