2003 Chevy Express AWD 2500 - $15,000, Western Mass

Posting here first as I've gotten a lot out of this site and would love for this to go to a member here. With a new travel trailer just don't have the time our van deserves. Note that this needs frame work and has been parked for two years while I've been slowly replacing parts. Runs and drives, but will need to be trailered to your workshop. Happy to provide more pictures, answer any questions.

- Chevy Express 2500 All Wheel Drive - $15,000
- 64,000 Miles
- Sportsmobile Penthouse Top, freshly Raptor lined white
- Cruise control
- Black Widow alarm
- Sure Power battery isolator
- Reflectex and foam board insulated walls and floor

New:
- Wheels/Tires, 5x General Grabber 265/75/R16 Load range E
- Front Skyjacker shocks
- Suspension Maxx lift keys
- Front Brake rotors and calipers
- Fuel tank filler neck
- House battery
- Starting battery
- Blue Sea Aux fuse box
- Inverter with remote switch
- Zamp solar charge controller
- Power steering pump

Probably a lot more that I'm missing over the last few years.

Hey Chris - I'm in CT, and on my way to purchasing a Chevy AWD while out on a trip to the West coast. Wondering if you still have the current vehicle and would maybe consider selling portions of the build? I'm particularly interested in the pop-top.

Best,

Joseph

Joseph,
Thank you for the reply. I almost forgot I even had this still up. Still have it, but am leaning back to fixing it ourselves. So not ready for a part out now. I'll stay in touch if things change though. Best of luck on your trip.

Chris

This could be such a great base and start for someone willing to take on the frame work with the top and low miles. I happen to have parents over in RI who just used a frame repair welder for another vehicle with success. Curious how extensive that rust goes in the undercarriage...

I might have a bit of past fomo since this past summer I was trying to buy the only other AWD express with a sportsmobile top I've ever seen before it was sold out from under me. Curious if this one was a self-install since I believe field van and CCV states they won't install pop tops on express vans with rear panel windows.
