2005 e350 v10 12 passenger with aluminess bumpers

Hey all, long time lurker here (I have appreciated all the wisdom and experience). Anyway, it is time for us to sell our van.

We call this beast "Vanasaurus" and it is time for us to move this awesome beast along to someone who will use it more. This is a 2005 Ford E350 Superduty 12 passenger van with a 6.8L v10 RWD with a 3.73 rear axle differntial ratio. This badboy has a surprising amount of getup and go and easily does highway speeds. It has approximately 143,500 on it.

It has a few inch body lift (2" i think?) to accommodate the oversized BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2s (purchased in 2022, with only about 10k miles on them). It also has aluminess bumpers front and back. The van is running great and has been well taken care of since we bought it in 2020, including: repainting the roof and hood, transmission and differential fluid change, all breaks serviced, new engine fan, and a new battery.

It is not perfect cosmetically. There are some dents and minor scrapes as youd expect. There are also a few stains on the interior. The headliner is starting to sag, but we had thoughts of pulling it down to Thinsulate and re-cover with something cool, but it hasn't happened yet. There is also a CD stuck in the player from when we bought it. The rear passenger window area leaks a bit in heavy rain, so the headliner has a bit of a stain, but its never been more than slightly damp.

We had Van Life camping dreams, and I have built a basic bed platform that fits a full size mattress with storage underneath that I am happy to throw in. Alas, life is getting in the way of us living out those dreams, and it is time to pass it along. It is a perfect conversion project base for a stealth camper, and if you are adventurous, it is still in good enough shape to make the 4x4 conversion worthwhile.

I am going to post this to Craiglist here in Austin and maybe shop it around a few more specialty used car lots, but also wanted to list here in case anyone is interested.

Asking Price is $9500, but let me know if that sounds too high.

Price seems fair, not too low, not too high, especially for a van with Aluminess and decent wheels/tires. I'm assuming that's the remains of Plasti-Dip on the wheels?

2005 is the first year or the 5 speed tranny (5r110), a big benefit on the V10 vans. Not all of them had it though. Might still be a 4r100. Do you know which? You can usually tell by the end of the shifter knob. I think tow/haul represents the 5 speed and O/D or something represents the 4 speed. I can't remember but someone here will know.

- V10 vans are getting hard to find
- Pretty low miles for the age
- Has side barn doors (vs. slider, big benefit for camper conversion)
- Great color that isn't white
- Pretty much original, always a plus IMO

I looked, and can confirm it is a 5 speed transmission. And yea, the previous owner had the wheels plasti-dipped, but it's flaking off now.
