Sadly it is time to sell
The van was converted straight from the factory at sportsmobile west(now field van) and has spent its entire life in CA.. I bought the van from the original owner and have done some extensive work and repairs to the van. The original owner provided all maintenance records as well as over $200k in receipts of work done to the van.
Since its original conversion the van has received a new 6.0 diesel motor from Ford(with approximately 2,500 miles on it. It changes as I still use the van), a new ish sportsmobile pop top with electric motor, upgraded suspension and fox 2.0 shocks, banks power pack, upgraded lithium ion battery setup with solar control and port for portable power(also set up for new permanent panels), new tires, touch up body work, both rear axles have been rebuilt, as well as other upgrades listed below.
When I originally purchased the van I took it by field van and they performed a complete inspection of the van and all systems. Any issues were addressed and fixed at that time. The van is in great shape for its age with minor cosmetic issues. Everything has been gone through and functions as it should
All maintenance has been kept up on including oil changes, fuel filters air filters, and breather filter

Classic and versatile RB50 layout with Penthouse bed is in 2 removable pieces, allowing for full standing height throughout the back of the van. Sleeps totally of 4, two up top and two on the bench/bed on the bottom

**Recent work**
-Van was converted over to Litium ion batters by South Swell Electical. New 200Ah Rich Solar american made battery, installed Victron DC/DC charger, victron MPPT auxiliary solar charger as well as an external solar port for portable panels. Installed new Aims Litium compatible inverter/charging unit. Van is ready for permanent panels, just plug and play. Batteries will charge while driving or via shore power ($5,200)
